Maar vanaf begin jaren 1950 kon je in de Strotzb\u00fcscher M\u00fchle ook een kamer huren. Het bleek een opmaat naar een vermaarde &#8220;Gastwirtschaft&#8221;. Mensen van heinde en ver kwamen hierheen om verse forel te eten of de dampende `Spie\u00dfbraten\u00b4 te verorberen. Uiteraard vloeide de alcohol rijkelijk. Het was de plek om een weekend of vakantie door te brengen. Volgens de overlevering stierven de herbergier en zijn vrouw op dezelfde dag zonder dat ze dat van elk wisten. Een opvolger was er niet. De Strotzb\u00fcscher M\u00fchle ging dicht. Het was ergens halverwege de jaren 1980.\nNu, zo&#8217;n 30 jaar later, is de Strotzb\u00fcscher M\u00fchle in zijn geheel te huur. De herberg beschikt over een semi professionele keuken en 25 bedden verdeeld over 13 kamers. Zeer geschikt voor groepen die ongestoord samen willen zijn. Uiteraard blijft het mogelijk net als vroeger een kamer &#8220;te nemen&#8221;.
